Good food, great service and vibe. My family and I really enjoyed our dinner there. They have a good and different selection of desserts and wine. It was warm, cozy and homely.

A Hidden Gem in the Lake District , A Must Visit Italian Delight
Tucked away on a charming one way street, this Italian restaurant might be a little tricky to find, especially with car access restricted unless you’re a disabled badge holder but trust me, it’s worth the effort.
From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere is absolutely captivating: warm, welcoming, and authentically Italian. It’s a spot that feels both special and relaxed, the kind of place where conversations linger over empty plates and glasses of wine.
The staff are fantastically attentive, cheerful, and clearly passionate about what they do. It’s refreshing to see young talent thriving in the hospitality industry, and their energy adds to the overall experience.
A word to the wise: skip the beers and lagers. This place shines when it comes to its wine selection, which perfectly complements the food and enhances the overall dining experience.
If you’re visiting the Lake District, make this restaurant a priority. Excellent food, a beautiful atmosphere, and standout service make it a true highlight of the region.- Reservation

Came here after reading reviews and I was not disappointed! I had booked ahead and was when I arrived I was warmly greated and seated immediately. Food was incredibly tasty and eaten entirely! I had the goats cheese salad, pollo marengo and the chef recommended desert. Vanilla sponge, cherry compte and vanilla ice cream. The house rosé helped it all go down!

Had a great dinner here. Typical classic Italian restaurant with all the usual dishes and some interesting specials. Chicken liver starter was excellent, as were all three pasta dishes we chose. Wine list is extensive if a little expensive. Good range of beers. Part of the place is up a set of stairs on the first floor. Something to be aware of if you find stairs an issue. Would recommend reserving a table as it was very busy when we were there. Despite this service was quick and friendly. for what we had it was also good value.- Parking

Staying in Windermere and walked past this restaurant and thought the menu looked good. Called same day and luckily managed to get a table for that evening, though it seems we really timed it right as it was fully booked. We walked down an alley to find a very charming, authentic restaurant where we were greeted and seated by a friendly and welcoming gentleman. The food was second to none, fresh and authentic and extremely tasty. Very efficient service, couldn’t fault any of it. £80 for three courses, two alcoholic drinks and one non-alcoholic drink. Really great prices. Will absolutely be back if we ever find ourselves in the area.- Service

Fabulous family run business with Incredible food, you can immediately see the effort, heart and soul that goes into the food. Both pasta dishes were amazing, my wife ordered pasta napoli whilst I ordered the rigatoni. For desert, the cantuccini was incredible and my Wife was speechless at the afogato! Incredible!
I came here two days after my wedding, during our honeymoon and the service were so nice and friendly!
The service was so fast and we enjoyed a lovely chat with the service about Italy!
If there were six stars I would give them that!

Been visiting this fab authentic rustic italian restaurant for 23 years and the family owners still offer a warm and friendly welcome, with excellent traditional italian fayre and great hospitality! Highly recommend any pasta or fish/seafood dish - oh and garlic bread with tomato to die for! Also homemade Tiramisu is a must for a sweet tooth to finish your meal!
Angelo, Claire, Roberto and Davide make this the success that it always has been!
P.s make sure to book in advance for peak holiday times and weekends as they are always full!- Service

Questions & answers
101Is this restaurant dog friendly?
I’m not to sure , although the rest of the town is very dog friendly☺️however I would suggest not to bring you’re fur babies as it is very small inside & tables are close together (not very comfortable for dogs).
